THE MATCHA PRO was born from a deep, personal connection to Japanese tea culture. Our founder runs Guesthouse NINCHA in Tokoname, Aichi — a 120-year-old former tea master’s residence in the heart of Japan’s most celebrated pottery town.
For years, guests from across Europe came to experience Japanese tradition: tatami rooms, an authentic tea ceremony room, the quiet ritual of preparing and sharing tea. Watching European guests discover the depth of Japanese tea planted a simple idea: this experience belongs in every café in Europe.
